Morris Gleitzman Mini Biography

Morris Gleitzman was born in United Kingdom in January 9, 1953. He moved to Australia when he was 16 years old and he is one of Australia's most successful author. He is famous for writing books such as; Toad Rage, Two weeks with the Queen, Once, Bumface, Blabbermouth and many more. Morris has won lot's of awards from the 1990s up to now. Morris's family history can be told in his book called once which is about World War 2 after the holocaust. Morris read every book he can find when he was a child and started reading from classics like Shakespeare to western stories with cowboys in them. His writing career began in the early 1980s writing scripts for a show in the ABC channel. One of his scripts led him to write a book. His books ended up best sellers and was voted the most favourite Australian author in 1999 and won best book for older readers in 2000. Morris Gleitzman is now currently living in Melbourne with his wife Mary-Anne Fahey and his two stepsons and often visits his two children in Sydney.
